Representative Ann Lenczewski, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:39 A.M. on April 1, 2009 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Tillberry moved the minutes from March 25, 2009. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Before the committee was the Governor’s 21st Century Tax Reform Commission Report.

Individuals presenting the report were: Former Senator Bill Belanger, 21st Century Tax Reform Commission; Mike Vekich, Chair, 21st Century Tax Reform Commission; John Spry, 21st Century Tax Reform Commission; Mark Haveman, 21st Century Tax Reform Commission.

Before the committee was HF2263.

HF2263-Lenczewski-The governor’s 21st century tax commission recommendations adopted, tax bases, credits, and rates modified, and corporate franchise tax repealed.

The committee adjourned at 12:05PM.
