Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 1:20 PM in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Carlson moved to adopt the minutes of April 15, 2009 as presented.

Representative Solberg moved that HF1309 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Representative Leider presented HF1309.
Representative Solberg moved to amend HF1309 as follows: see

Representative Eken moved to amend HF1309 as follows: see

Representative Solberg renewed his motion that HF1309, as amended, pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Faust moved that HF1657 1st Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Solberg presented an update to the Budget Resolution that included an Energy Component and a Cultural and Outdoor Heritage component.
HF2123 (Wagenius)
Representative Tillberry moved that HF2123 1st Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Representative Solberg moved to amend HF2123 as follows:
H2123A32.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED
Representative Solberg moved to amend HF2123 as follows: see
H2123A33.
Representative Wagenius moved an oral amended to H2123A33 as follows: On line 1.3, delete both $150,000, and insert $245,000 in both places.
THE AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED
Representative Solberg stated that there are still some problems with the numbers in HF2123. Representative Solberg moved that staff is directed to make the corrections to adjust the bill so it reflects the numbers in the spread sheets.
Representative Tillberry renewed his motion that HF2123, as amended pass and be placed on the General Register.
