MINUTES


Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 8:00 AM in Room 200 of the State Office Bldg.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hamilton moved to adopt the minutes of April 1, 2009 as presented.

THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Solberg moved to amend House Budget Resolution KN-RES07 adopted on March 27, 2009 as follows: See KN-RES07A1.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

HF925, 1st Engrossment
Representative Mahoney moved that HF925, 1st Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Mahoney moved to amend HF925 as follows: see H0925A3.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Sertich presented HF925 as amended.

Representative Mahoney renewed his motion that HF925, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

SF643, 1st Engrossment
Representative Brynaert recommended that SF643, 1st Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Brynaert presented SF643.

Representative Brynaert renewed her motion that SF643, 1st Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
THE MOTION PREVAILED

SF550 2nd Engrossment
Representative Solberg moved that SF550 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Solberg moved to amend SF550 as follows: see A09-0403.

Representative Holberg requested a roll call vote on the amendment.

Members voting Aye:
Solberg, Brynaert, Bunn, Carlson, Eken, Faust, Hilstrom, Huntley, Kahn, Lenczewski, Mahoney, Nelson, Otremba, Rudd, Scalze, Swails, Tillberry.

Members voting Nay:
Davids, Demmer, Hamilton, Holberg, Hoppe.

There being 17 Ayes and 5 Nays
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Hilty presented SF550 as amended.

Representative Solberg renewed his motion that SF550 as amended be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
