A.M. on Friday, November 9, 2007, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Chair Lenczewski introduced the new Committee Legislative Assistant, Sasha Bergman, and acknowledged Representative DeLaForest's attendance.
David Poliseno from the Office of the Legislative Auditor, did audit for the Department of Revenue, presented findings on the Financial Audit Division.
Commissionner Ward Einess, Department of Revenue, testified in response to the testimony of the Office of the Legislative Auditor.
A quorum was present at 12:04 P.M.
Bruce Scholl from the Minnesota Department of Revenue testified on the laptop inventory of the Department of Revenue.
Commissioner Ward Einess, Minnesota Department of Revenue, testified on Tax Compliance Initiatives.
Gordon Folkman, Director of the Property Tax Division of the Minnesota Department of Revenue and Eric Willette, Property Tax Analyst for the Minnesota Department of Revenue gave an overview results from the referendums for school levies from the recent elections.
Tom Melcher, Finance Director at the Department of Education testified on the 2008 School Levies.
Eric Willette, Property Tax Analyst for the Minnesota Department of Revenue testified on Taxable Market Value and Tax Rates.
Cass County Assessor Steven Kuha, Land Records Director from Rock County Tom Houselog, Ramsey County Assessor Stephen Baker, and Hennepin County Assessor Tom May testified on market value changes and foreclosures.
The committee adjourned at 12:57 P.M.
