MINUTES


Representative Tony Sertich, Chair, called the meeting to order at 11:33 a.m., on Wednesday April 30, 2008 in Room 118 State Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Dean Simpson moved that the minutes for the Wednesday April 23, 2008 meeting be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Tony Sertich moved the Proposed Supplemental Calendar for the Day for Wednesday April 30, 2008. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee recessed at 11:34 a.m.

Representative Tony Sertich reconvened the committee at 1:45 p.m.

Pursuant to Permanent House Rule 4.13 Representative Tony Sertich moved that HF 4207 be recommended to pass and be referred to the Local Government and Metropolitan Affairs Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Leon Lillie abstained from voting.

Representative Joe Atkins testified to the bill.

Notwithstanding Joint Rule 2.03 and Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 8 Representative Tony Sertich moved that HF 4015 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Local Government and Metropolitan Affairs Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Leon Lillie abstained from voting.

Representative Joe Atkins testified to the bill.


The committee recessed at 1:50 p.m.
