Representative Lieder, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:12 P.M. on February 28, 2008, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Morgan moved adoption of the minutes of February 26, 2008. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 3124 Subcommittee Report (Junke) Rep. Lieder moved that the HF 3124 subcommittee report be adopted and recommended to pass to the floor. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2628 Subcommittee Report (Norton) Rep.Hornstein moved adoption of the HF 2628 subcommittee report. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1601 (Anderson, B.) relating to drivers' licenses; establishing novice driver safety education programs, etc. Rep. Morrow moved the H1601A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Rep. Hortman moved the H1601A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. The following spoke regarding the bill:

HF 1601, as amended, was laid over.
