Rep. Ozment presented HF3360 (Ozment) Department of Corrections claim settlement provided and money appropriated.

Chair Carlson moved to amend HF3360. (See attached amendment A08-1411). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Craig Lindeke, Senior Assistant Revisor, responded to questions regarding HF3360, as amended.

Rep. Solberg moved that HF4023 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

Rep. Solberg presented HF4023 (Solberg) Health, human services and education forecast adjustments made, and money appropriated.

Brent Gustafson, Financial Planning Director, Minnesota Department of Finance testified on HF4023.

Rep. Solberg renewed the motion that HF4023 be recommended to pass and re-referred
