MINUTES



Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Telecommunications Regulation and Infrastructure Division, called the seventh meeting to order at 11:07A.M. on March 8, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Johnson called the meeting to order at 11:07 A.M. A quorum was present.


Representative Hoppe moved approval of the minutes of February 16, 2007.
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES APPROVED.



HF 635 (Masin) relating to telecommunications; enacting the Minnesota Wireless Telephone Consumer Protection Act; changing certain existing requirements; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 237.665; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 325F; repealing Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 325F.695.

Representative Masin moved HF635 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.


Representative Masin moved amendment H0635DE2.
The amendment was adopted.
