Representative Jim Knoblach, Chair, called the forty-third meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Representative Knoblach called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. A quorum was present.

HF4162 Knoblach Deficiency and supplemental appropriations provided.

Representative Knoblach moved that HF4162 be recommended to pass.

Representative Knoblach, Duane Benson, Deputy Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Corrections, and Mike Tessnner, Minnesota Department of Health testified on HF4162.

Representative Knoblach moved the DE1-2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Knoblach moved the H4162A13 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Knoblach moved to orally amend HF4162 by: P. 13, L.13.16, change, “277,000” to “227.000” THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Knoblach moved that HF4162, as amended, be recommended to pass. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:09 p.m.
