MINUTES


Representative Jim Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the second meeting to order at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

Representative Knoblach called the meeting to order at 4:40 P.M.

A quorum was present.

Representative Knoblach moved that HF57 be recommended to pass.

Representative Knoblach announced that this meeting would be informational and that there would not be a vote taken.

Representative Dorn moved that the minutes of January 10, 2005 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Peggy Ingison, Commissioner, MN. Department of Finance, Wes Kooistra, Assistant Commissioner of Mental and Dental Health, MN Department of Human Services, Mary Ellison, Deputy Commissioner, MN Department of Public Safety, Wayne Warloski, State Planning Director, MN Department of Administration, and Dennis Benson, Deputy Commissioner, MN Department of Corrections testified on HF57. (Pro)

The meeting was adjourned at 6:02 P.M.
