Representative Kathy Tingelstad, Chair of the Governmental Operations and Veterans Affairs Committee, called the twenty sixth meeting to order at 10:25 am on Thursday, March 17, 2005, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

10:25:58 AM Representative Lloyd Cybart moved the approval of the minutes of Wednesday, March 16, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1081 (Ozment) relating to natural resources; modifying commercial fishing restrictions in infested waters; providing for a water recreation account; modifying expiration of certain committees; modifying disposition of certain revenue and unrefunded tax receipts; modifying terms of certain reports; eliminating commissioner approval of county expenditures of county timber receipts; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, sections 84D.03, subdivision 4; 97A.055, subdivision 4b; 97A.4742, subdivision 4; 103G.615, subdivision 2; 282.08; 282.38, subdivision 1; 296A.18, subdivision 2; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 86B.

10:28:42 AM Representative Tingelstad moved the A05-0303 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1438 (McNamara) relating to natural resources; providing for an official map of state forest roads as an alternative recording method; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 89.

11:53:24 AM Representative McNamara moved that HF1438 be passed as amended and be re-referred to the Committee on Local Government. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE BILL WAS PASSED.
