MINUTES
Representative Greg Davids, Chair of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, called the eighth meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 09, 2005, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Rep. Heidgerken moved approval of the minutes: Wednesday, February 2, 2005. The motion prevailed.
HF540 (Juhnke) Willmar rail container load-out facility study required
Rep. Juhnke moved HF540.
Rep. Juhnke moved to amend HF540 with the H0540A1 amendment (please see attached). The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
Rep. Juhnke presented HF540.

Rep. Juhnke renewed his motion that HF540 be recommended to pass, as amended, and be referred to the Committee on Agriculture and Environment Finance. The motion prevailed.
HF426 (Penas) Farmer-lender mediation program expiration date extended and codified
Rep. Penas moved HF426.
