1.7"(f) An insurance producer that offers individual market products must not sell an
1.8individual health benefit plan to a person whose income may make the person eligible for
1.9either premium assistance or a public health program without first assisting that person in
1.10assessing the person's eligibility or referring the person for assistance in that assessment.
1.11(g) An insurance producer that offers health benefit plans in the small group market
1.12shall notify the small group purchaser of the benefits of the employer paying 50 percent
1.13or more of the employee's premium so that the employer and the employees earn rate
1.14review and rate increase protection under section 62L.03, subdivision 3. The insurance
1.15producer shall also notify each small group purchaser that only exchange-purchased health
1.16benefit plans offer ongoing savings to both the employer and the employees under Internal
1.17Revenue Service approved section 125 plans."
