1.7Page 2, delete lines 33 to 35 and insert
1.8    "Subd. 4. Applicability. (a) This section applies to all homeowners association
1.9documents executed on or after August 1, 2012.
1.10(b) An association governed by a homeowner association document executed
1.11before August 1, 2012 may retain existing restrictions that conflict with this section by
1.12affirmative vote of the association, conducted no later than July 30, 2013. If a vote
1.13to retain the existing restrictions is unsuccessful or is not conducted by that date, the
1.14prohibitions contained in this section apply to the association's homeowner association
1.15document effective August 1, 2013."

1.18"(5) Minor violations of the declaration, bylaws, or rules and regulations of the
1.19association for which late charges, interest, or fines are imposed under section 515B.3-102,
1.20(a)(11) may not be the basis for initiating a foreclosure proceeding under this section."
