1.2Delete everything after the enacting clause and insert:

1.3    "Section 1. CASS COUNTY HOSPITAL.
1.4    Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $1,500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.5fund to the commissioner of administration for a grant to Cass County to predesign and
1.6design a hospital on the former Ah-Gwah Ching site in the city of Walker.
1.7    Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in subdivision 1 from
1.8the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance shall sell and issue bonds of the
1.9state in an amount up to $1,500,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
1.10prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
1.11Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
1.13Delete the title and insert:
1.15relating to capital investment; authorizing the sale of state bonds; appropriating
1.16money for predesign and design of a new hospital in Cass County."
