1.2Page 26, line 25, after the period, insert "Entities administering projects undertaken
1.3with funds in this subdivision must: (1) conform to occupational safety and health
1.4standards under federal law and Minnesota Statutes, chapter 182; (2) as an additional
1.5occupational safety and health standard, develop a comprehensive human health and
1.6safety plan for each project location and provide personal protective equipment to all
1.7workers performing labor at each project location that protects against all contaminants of
1.8concern and contaminants of potential concern identified at the project location. For the
1.9purposes of this subdivision, "contaminants of concern" and "contaminants of potential
1.10concern" must be identified by methods substantially the same as the U.S. Environmental
1.11Protection Agency's Superfund risk assessment processes; (3) before commencing work
1.12on a project undertaken with funds in this subdivision, submit a report to the chairs of the
1.13committees of the house of representatives and the senate having jurisdiction over labor
1.14and the environment on how they are complying with the occupational safety and health
1.15standards required by this subdivision; and (4) provide on-site monitoring of compliance
1.16with the occupational safety and health standards required by this subdivision at all times
1.17that workers are performing labor at a project location."
