1.9(a) $310,000 of this appropriation must be
1.10transferred to the Help America Vote Act
1.11account and is designated as a portion of the
1.12match required by section 253(b)(5) of the
1.13Help America Vote Act.
1.14(b) $2,844,000 the first year is appropriated
1.15from the Help America Vote Act account for
1.16the purposes and uses authorized by federal
1.17law. This appropriation is available until
1.18June 30, 2009.
1.19(c) Notwithstanding Laws 2005, chapter
1.20162, section 34, subdivision 7, any balance
1.21remaining in the Help America Vote Act
1.22account after previous appropriations and the
1.23appropriations in this section is appropriated
1.24to the secretary of state for the purposes of
1.25the account. This appropriation is available
1.26until June 30, 2011.
2.1(d) The amount necessary to meet federal
2.2requirements for interest payments and the
2.3additional match for the Help America Vote
2.4Act account is transferred from the general
2.5fund appropriation to the Help America Vote
2.6Act account.
2.7EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment."
