MINUTES


Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:00pm on March 24, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Petersburg moved that the March 22 minutes be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF4323 (Frederick) - Rail carrier minimum crew size required, and penalties imposed.

Chair Hornstein moved to refer HF 4323 to the committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Rep. Frederick gave an overview of HF 4323.

HF3413 (Frederick) - State-issued identification process established for persons eligible for medical assistance.

Chair Hornstein moved to lay over HF 3413 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Hornstein moved that the H3413A1 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hornstein moved that the H3413A2 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Frederick gave an overview of HF 3413, as amended.

Chair Hornstein moved to lay over HF 3474 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Hornstein moved that the H3474DE4 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Torkelson gave an overview of HF 3474, as amended.
