TRANSPORTATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES


Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:00pm on March 3, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Petersburg moved that the March 1 minutes be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3296 (Youakim) – Salvage Title Task Force Bill

Chair Hornstein moved that HF 3296 be rereferred to the committee on Commerce Finance and Policy.

Rep. Youakim gave an overview of the H3296A1 amendment.

Chair Hornstein moved that the H3296A1 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hornstein moved the that the oral amendment “Page 10, Delete Section 13” be incorporated. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Rep. Youakim gave an overview of HF 3296, as amended.

Chair Hornstein moved to lay over HF 3168.

Chair Hornstein moved that the H3168A1 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice-Chair Koegel gave an overview of HF 3168, as amended.

Chair Hornstein laid over HF 3168, as amended.
