TRANSPORTATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES


Representative Frank Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:00pm on February 17, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


Representative Petersburg moved that the February 15 minutes be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Koegel assumed the gavel at 1:04pm.


HF3035 (Hornstein) Legislative auditor required to conduct a special review of specified aspects of the Southwest light rail transit project, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hornstein moved that HF 3035 be referred to the committee on State Government Finance and Elections.

Rep. Hornstein moved that the H3035DE2 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hornstein gave an overview of HF 3035 as amended.

Legislative Auditor Judy Randall was available for questions.

Rep. Hornstein renewed the motion that HF 3035, as amended, be referred to the committee on State Government Finance and Elections. The results were as follows:
