MINUTES

Chair Youakim, Chair of the Property Tax Division, called the remote meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on March 18, 2022, pursuant to House Rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fischer moved the approval of the March 16, 2022 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation on the February Budget Forecast

HF 3719 (Reyer) Soil and water conservation district aid program established, and money
appropriated.

Chair Youakim moved that HF 3719 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Reyer presented the bill.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3586 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Torkelson presented the bill.

HF 4064 (Youakim) Mahnomen; local government aid calculation modified, and property
tax reimbursement program aid increased.
