MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Tax Committee meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McDonald moved the approval of the March 16, 2022 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1960 (Igo) Itasca County; refundable construction exemption provided for courts
facility.

Representative McDonald moved that HF 1960 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Tax Omnibus Bill.

Representative Igo presented the bill.

HF 4114 (Bahner) North Metro Range sales tax exemption provided for construction
materials.

Representative Lislegard moved the H2786A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lislegard presented the bill, as amended.

Representative Hertaus moved the 22-0365 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
