MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Tax Committee meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lislegard moved the approval of the March 2, 2021 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1201 (Lippert) Prepared food exempted in nonprofit food programs

Representative Youakim moved that HF 1201 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Youakim moved the H1201A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lippert presented the bill.

Representative Youakim renewed her motion that HF 1201, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 1334 (Her) St. Paul water treatment facility provided an exemption for construction materials.

Representative Her moved that HF 1334 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Her moved the H1334DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Her renewed her motion that HF 1334, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 1503 (Davids) Construction exemption provided for public safety facilities.

Representative Davids moved that HF 1503 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF 1503 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
