MINUTES


Representative Hausman, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on February 22, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative HOWARD moved to approve the minutes from February 11, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative HOWARD moved to approve the minutes from February 17, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair HOWARD assumed the gavel at 10:33 A.M.

HF3244(Hausman); Housing infrastructure bond eligible use added, housing infrastructure bond issuance regulated, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF3244 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Hausman introduced HF3244.

Testifying on the bill:

Representative HAUSMAN renewed her motion that HF3244 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Chair HAUSMAN assumed the gavel at 11:09 A.M.

HF 2695(Reyer); Housing; percentages of projects funded with housing infrastructure bonds required to result in physically and sensory accessible units.

Representative REYER moved that HF2695 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Reyer introduced an amendment to HF2695, the DE1 amendment.

Representative REYER moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Reyer introduced HF2695, as amended.

Testifying on the bill, as amended:
- Judy Moe: Director and Co-Founder, Richfield Disability Advocacy Partnership; Council Member, Minnesota Council on Disability
- Justin Smith: Disability Rights Advocate

Representative REYER renewed her motion that HF2695, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Housing Finance and Policy omnibus bill.
