MINUTES

Representative Jennifer Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on March 22, 2022, remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Lead Albright moved that the minutes from March 17, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3405 (Winkler) Minnesota Nursing Home Workforce Standards Board and duties established, training required for nursing home workers, retaliation against nursing home workers prohibited, enforcement provided, rulemaking authorized, and civil actions authorized by nursing home workers.
Testifiers:

Chair Schultz laid HF3405 over for possible inclusion in the Human Services Finance and Policy Omnibus bill.
HF4192 (Keeler) Task force on shelter reporting deadline extended.
Chair Schultz moved to adopt the Division Report from the Preventing Homelessness Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Schultz moved to place HF4192 as recommended on the General Register.
Chair Schultz renewed her motion to place HF4192 as recommended on the General Register.

Rep. Hanson moved to rerefer HF3845 to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Committee.
