MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on January 20, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Huot moved that the minutes of January 13, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Patrick Carter, Coordinator, Results Management, Minnesota Management and Budget, presented an overview of the Results First program.

Stefan Gildemeister, State Health Economist and Director, Health Economics Program, Minnesota Department of Health, gave an overview of health care spending during COVID-19.

Matthew Anderson, Assistant Commissioner, Health Care Administration, Minnesota Department of Human Services, gave an overview of public program health care spending during COVID-19.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:30 P.M.
