EARLY CHILDHOOD FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Committee on Early Childhood Finance and Policy, called the remote meeting to order at 6:00 PM on April 8, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll call.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Pryor moved that the minutes from April 6, 2021 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Pryor moved that the minutes from April 7, 2021 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pinto took HF 2230 off the table.

Chair Pinto handed the gavel to Vice Chair Pryor at 6:33PM.

Chair Pinto moved the DE1 amendment before the committee.

Chair Pinto offered the A3 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Pinto offered the A8 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Kotyza-Witthuhn offered the A11 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Demuth offered the A4 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Demuth offered the A5 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Rep. Franson offered the A10 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment, as amended.

Rep. Daniels offered the A7 amendment be added to the DE1 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT AMENDED.

Vice Chair Pryor offered DE1, as amended, before the committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Pryor moved that the DE1 amendment, as amended, be adopted to HF 2230. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Pinto moved that HF 2230, as amended, be referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:03 PM.
