EARLY CHILDHOOD FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Dave Pinto, Chair of the Committee on Early Childhood Finance and Policy, called the remote meeting to order at 8:30 AM on February 23, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll call.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Pryor moved that the minutes from February 18, 2021 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Pryor moved that HF 1200 be referred to the Committee on State Government Finance.

Representative Richardson presented HF 1200.

Vice Chair Pryor renewed their motion that HF 1200 be referred to the Committee on State Government Finance.

There being 8 AYES and 5 NAYS, THE MOTION PREVAILED AND HF 1200 WAS REFERRED TO THE COMMITTEE STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE.

Vice Chair Pryor moved that HF 316 be placed before the committee to be laid over for possible inclusion in an Early Childhood omnibus bill.

Representative Howard presented HF 316.
