MINUTES

Representative Mike Freiberg, Chair of the Government Operations Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:49am on March 5th, 2020, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Lee moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 3rd, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Freiberg moved HF3580 be referred to the Education Finance Committee.

HF3580 (Youakim); Teacher licensure provisions modified, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board composition modified, rulemaking authorized, and technical changes made.

Representative Youakim presented the bill.

Representative Freiberg renewed the motion to refer HF3580 to the Education Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Masin moved HF2058 be referred to the General Register.

HF2058 (Masin); State condemnation procedures modified.

Representative Sandra Masin presented the bill.
