Representative Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 7:07PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Knoblach called the meeting to order at 7:07PM a quorum was present.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes of March 28, 2017 be approved
MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Knoblach introduced A11 Amendment to the Budget Resolution
Representative Knoblach withdrew the A11 Amendment

Representative Gunther moved HF707 be referred to the General Register

HF707 (Bob Gunther) Omnibus legacy bill

Representative Gunther moved to adopt the A14 Amendment
MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Urdahl moved to adopt the A15 Amendment
MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Gunther renewed his motion to refer HF707 as amended to the General Register THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Hamilton moved HF895 be referred to the General Register

HF895 (Rod Hamilton) Omnibus agriculture finance bill

Representative Hamilton moved to adopt the A12 Amendment
MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Hamilton moved to adopt the A9 Amendment
MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED


Representative Hamilton renewed his motion to refer HF895 as amended to the General Register

Representative Cornish moved SF803 be referred to the General Register

Representative Knoblach moved to substitute the language of HF896 into SF803 be adopted
MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

HF896 (Tony Cornish) Public safety, courts, firefighter, corrections, crime, disaster assistance, and controlled substance provisions modified; and money appropriated.

Representative Davids moved to adopt the 17-0329 Amendment

Representative Vogel assumed the gavel at 7:55PM

Grover Sayre, University of Northwestern St. Paul Foundation testified on the 17-0329 Amendment

Representative Davids renewed his motion to adopt the 17-0329 Amendment
