Representative Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:17AM on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Knoblach called the meeting to order at 10:17AM a quorum was present.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes of March 8, 2017 be approved
MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Knoblach moved HF1366 be referred to the General Register

HF1366 (Tony Albright) Workers' Compensation Advisory Council recommendations adopted, department proposals adopted, inpatient service payments modified, forbearance of amounts owed to the special compensation fund allowed, intervention procedures modified, and rulemaking authorized.

Representative Knoblach renewed his motion to refer HF1366 to the General Register
THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Knoblach introduced Wes Kooistra, Metropolitan Council Reginal Administrator and Mark Fuhrmann, Metro Transit Deputy General Manager from the Met Council to give a presentation on capital and operating costs of existing and planned fixed guideway transit lines.

Representative Cornish moved HF470 be referred to the General Register

HF470 (Tony Cornish) Public safety motor vehicle tampering crime created, and criminal penalties established.

Representative Cornish presented the A2 Amendment

Representative Cornish moved to adopt the A2 Amendment MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Cornish renewed his motion to refer HF470 as amended to the General Register THE MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Cornish moved HF915 be referred to the General Register

HF915 (Tony Cornish) Corrections deficiency funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Cornish presented HF915

Nan Larson Department of Corrections testified on HF915

Representative Cornish renewed his motion to refer HF915 to the General Register
