MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, started the thirty eighth meeting at 6:35 P.M. on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018, in the Basement Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Governor’s Supplemental Budget Requests Presentation from MNDOT:

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3339 come before the committee and be sent to the General Register.

HF 3339 (Lucero) - Sewage septic tank trucks exempted from vehicle-weight limitations.

Representative Lucero moved the A10 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion for HF 3339, as amended, be moved to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Torkelson moved that HF 4158 come before the committee and be moved to the committee on Capitol Investment.

HF 4158 (Anderson) - Trade associations permitted vehicle registration information access, and fee waived.

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion for HF 4158 be moved to the committee Capitol Investment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3528 come before the committee and be moved to the committee on Ways & Means.

HF 3528 (Koznick) - Class of vehicles requiring a salvage certificate of title modified.

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion that HF 3528 be moved to the committee on Ways & Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3301 come before the committee and be re-referred to the committee on Ways & Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3301 (Urdahl) Educational campaign regarding stopping for school buses funding provided, and money appropriated.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 P.M.
