MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, started the meeting at 10:15 AM, on Wednesday, March 28th 2018, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF3292 (Quam) Public and private health plan additional purchases exempted.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:16 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Davids moved HF3292 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF3292 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Wills moved to orally amend the minutes of Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 by: strike “Maye Quade” insert “Davids”. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Davids moved the minutes of Tuesday, March 27th, 2018, as amended, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3989 (McDonald) Corporate franchise rates reduced.

Representative McDonald moved HF3989 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative McDonald renewed his motion that HF3989 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

HF3934 (Wills) Military retirement pay subtraction expanded.

Representative Wills moved HF3934 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

Representative Wills moved the HF3934A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Wills renewed her motion that HF3934, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.

HF4072 (Anderson, S.) Minnesota housing tax credit contribution fund established, tax credit for contributions provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Anderson moved HF4072 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus tax bill.
