Representative Anderson, Chair, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM., April 12, 2018 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.


The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Ward moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 11, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3600 (Jenifer Loon)
Legislative auditor requested to compare revenue generation and spending between school districts and charter schools, and report required.

Representative Anderson moved that HF3600 be re-referred to the Education Finance Committee.

Representative Anderson moved the H3600DE2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF3600, as amended, be re-referred to the Education Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2953 (Peggy Scott)
Chapter 13 responsibilities transferred from administration commissioner to the Office of Administrative Hearings, data practices coordinator position established, administrative remedy under chapter 13 amended, and money appropriated.

Representative Anderson moved that HF2953 be laid over.

Representative Anderson moved the H2953DE3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
