Representative Nornes, Chair of the Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:03 PM on January 24, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Representative Christensen moved that the minutes of January 18, 2017, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The University of Minnesota presented an overview of the University of Minnesota to members of the committee.
