MINUTES


Representative Schomacker, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF986 (Bennett) Liability insurance coverage expanded for licensed foster home providers, automobile insurance reimbursement program for licensed foster home providers and persons in foster care created, and money appropriated.

Representative Schomacker moved HF986 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Peggy Bennett testified to the bill.

Representative Schomacker moved the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Schomacker renewed his motion that HF986, as amended, be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF547 (Fenton) Child and Adult Care Food Program administration by the Health department provided.

Representative Schomacker moved HF547 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

HF2047 (Franke) Strategic plan to end HIV/AIDS development required.

Representative Schomacker moved HF2047 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Schomacker moved the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Schomacker moved HF1091 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Liebling moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Schomacker called the meeting to recess at 9:50 a.m.

Representative Schomacker re-convened the meeting at 3:11 p.m.

HF1362 (Scott) NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center coparent service grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Schomacker moved HF1362 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Schomacker moved the A17-0178 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Franson moved HF559 be recommended to be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Gruenhagen moved HF1357 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Gruenhagen moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
