MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 22, 2018, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brian Johnson moved the approval of the March 21, 2018 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3761 (Swedzinski) Exceptions to threatened and endangered species protections modified.

Representative Fabian moved HF3761 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

Representative Fabian moved the H4028A-2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF3905 (Neu) Snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle privileges revoked following a conviction for driving under the influence.

Representative Fabian moved HF3905 be re-referred to the General Register.

HF3423 (Fabian) Department legal representation provisions modified, training and licensing of wildland firefighters provided, and approved firewood provisions modified.

Representative Fabian moved HF3423 be re-referred to the General Register.

HF3078 (Heintzeman) Pollution Control Agency required to certify information regarding bonding proposals for solid waste facilities, and additional analysis in applications for state assistance for solid waste management projects required.

Representative Fabian moved HF3078 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

Representative Heintzeman moved the H3078A-1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
