MINUTES

Representative Peggy Scott, Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM, on February 23rd, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Pugh moved to approve the minutes of February 21st, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1281 (Zerwas) Interest on verdicts, awards, and judgments regulated.

Representative Scott moved that HF1281 be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance.

Representative Scott moved the HF1281A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Scott renewed her motion that HF1281 as amended be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance.

HF1316 (Lesch) Video and audio recordings added to list of personnel data classified as public.

Representative Lesch moved that HF1316 be laid over for possible inclusion in the data practices omnibus bill.

Representative Lesch moved the HF1316A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
