MINUTES

Representative Urdahl, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, started the meeting at
9:02 AM on May 4, 2018, in the Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Ecklund moved the minutes from April 25, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4404(Urdahl) Public land and building acquisition and improvement spending authorized, previous appropriations modified, new programs established and existing programs modified, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Urdahl moved that HF4404 be brought before the committee and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Urdahl moved to adopt the A18-0869 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.





Andrew Lee, Non-Partisan Fiscal Analyst, Minnesota House of Representatives, gave a walk-through of the fiscal spreadsheet for the A18-0869 amendment.

Deborah Dyson, Non-Partisan Research Analyst, Minnesota House of Representatives, gave a section by section overview of the A18-0869 amendment.

Chairman Urdahl assumed the gavel at 11:01 AM




Representative ¬¬¬¬¬¬Urdahl moved to adopt the A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.


Representative Ecklund moved to adopt the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.



Representative Miller moved to adopt the A19 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.


Representative Dettmer withdrew the A2 Amendment.





Representative Dettmer moved to adopt the A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.


Representative Urhdahl moved that HF4404, as amended, be adopted and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:58 AM.
