TRANSPORTATION POLICY AND FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Tim Kelly, Chair of the Transportation Policy and Finance Committee, began the seventh meeting at 12:47 p.m. on February 4, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Kelly began the meeting at 12:47 p.m. A quorum was NOT present.

Adam Duininck, Chair of the Metropolitan Council, gave remarks about the Metropolitan Council budget.

Chair Kelly called the meeting to order at 12:49 p.m. A quorum was present.

Adam Duininck, Chair of the Metropolitan Council, gave an overview of the Metropolitan Council budget.

Judd Schetnan, Government Affairs Director for the Metropolitan Council, gave an overview of the Governor Dayton’s budget proposal outcomes for the Metropolitan Council.

Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes of February 2, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Todd Klingel, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, gave remarks on the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Marc Hall, President of Minnesota Public Transit Association and Director of Pipestone County Transit, gave an overview of Greater Minnesota Transit.

Gary Ludwig, Executive Director of Trailblazer Joint Powers Board, gave an overview of transportation services provided in Sibley, McLeod and Wright Counties.

Jack Larson, Executive Director of Arrowhead Transit, gave an overview of Arrowhead Transit.

Marc Hall, President of Minnesota Public Transit Association and Director of Pipestone County Transit, continued an overview of Greater Minnesota Transit.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:32 p.m.
