MINUTES

Representative Greg Davids, Chairman of the Taxes Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 AM on April 12, 2016 in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Erik Simonson moved the minutes of April 7, 2016 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Davids renewed his motion and moved House File 2969 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.


Chair Davids moved House File 3852 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus Bill.

Chair Davids moved the H3852A1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Jason Metsa testified to House File 3852 as amended.

Steve Peterson, Director of Development for Iron Range Resources & Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB), testified to House File 3852 as amended.

Chair Davids renewed his motion and moved House File 3852 as amended to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.
