ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES POLICY AND FINANCE COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative McNamara, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, began the meeting at 8:20 AM, on March 15th, 2016, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McNamara officially called the meeting to order at 8:20 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Heintzman moved the minutes of March 10th, 2016 be adopted. THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner and Jason Moeckel, Ecological and Water Resources from the Department of Natural Resources presented their report titled Report to the Minnesota State Legislature: Definitions and Thresholds for Negative Impacts to Surface Waters.

Craig Johnson, League of Minnesota Cities and Bruce Kleven, Irrigators Association of Minnesota and John Lenczewski, Minnesota Trout Association also testified in relation to the report presented by DNR.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:03 AM.
