CAPITAL INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, began the twenty-fifth meeting at 12:46 P.M. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Torkelson began the meeting at 12:46 P.M. A quorum was not present.


Representative Torkelson called the meeting to order at 12:52 P.M. A quorum was present.


Representative Dehn moved to approve the minutes of April 12, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


Representative Erickson introduced a presentation on a sewer and water infrastructure project for the City of Pease.
Diane Kiel, Mayor, City of Pease.
Tim Korby, City Engineer, City of Pease.
Richard Baker, Community Development Coordinator.


Representative Torkelson moved HF 3951 for possible inclusion in the Capital Investment omnibus bill.
Dan Larson, Minnesota Rural Counties Caucus, testified on the bill.
Emily Pugh, Association of Minnesota County Engineers, testified on the bill.
Kent Silem, Minnesota Townships, testified on the bill.


The meeting was adjourned at 1:16 P.M.
