MINUTES

Representative Lenczewski, Chair of Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 12:40 PM March 12, 2014 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Jenny Starr, of the Minnesota Department of Revenue, gave a presentation on the Minnesota estate and gift tax laws.

Joel Michael, of House Research answered questions of the committee and gave a brief overview on the estate and gift tax.

Representative Zellers moved HF 1886. Representative Albright presented HF 1886.

HF 1886 was laid over for possible inclusion to an omnibus tax bill.

Representative Drazkowski moved HF 1909. Representative Drazkowski presented HF 1909.
