MINUTES

Representative Holberg, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:04 A.M. on April 16, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved to approve the minutes from the committee meetings on April 2, 2012 and April 5, 2012. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2786 (Swedzinski): Qualifying cities exempted from 2011 aid penalties.

Representative Davids moved HF 2786 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Davids moved the H2786A3 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF 2786, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1476 (Scott): Prevailing wage provisions added to and modified.

Representative Holberg moved to remove HF 1476, as amended, from the table. Representative Carlson requested a roll call vote.

The following thirteen members voted Nay:
CARLSON, BRYNAERT, CHAMPION, EKEN, GREILING, HORNSTEIN, HOWES, KAHN, LENCZEWSKI, PELOWSKI, SLAWIK, SMITH, WAGENIUS

The following seventeen members voted Yea:

Representative Holberg moved HF 1476, as amended, for consideration by the committee.

Representative Holberg moved the H1476A8 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Holberg moved to orally amend the H1476A7 Amendment as follows:

Page 1, line 5, delete "$192,000" and insert "$112,000"

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Holberg renewed her motion that HF 1476, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. Representative Carlson requested a roll call vote.

SF2324 (Sanders): Electrical licenses modified.

Representative Holberg moved SF 2324 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

SF248 (Hamilton): New radiation therapy facility construction criteria established, and radiation therapy facility capacity study required.

Representative Hamilton moved SF 248 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

HF1721 (Gunther): Redevelopment demolition loans authorized, and semiannual report eliminated.

Representative Gunther moved the H1721A4 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Gunther moved the A12-0839. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
