MINUTES

Representative Gottwalt, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:52 P.M. on March 24, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF927 (Abeler): Commissioner of Human Services required to seek a waiver from the federal government to reform the medical assistance program, guidelines set for the reformed medical assistance program, rulemaking authority provided, and reports required.

Representative Kiffmeyer assumed the gavel at 12:54 P.M.

Representative McDonald moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 23, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Abeler moved that HF927 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Liebling moved that HF927 be re-referred to the Taxes Committee and requested a roll call vote.
