Representative Abeler, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:36 P.M. on February 2nd, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Steve Larson, Public Policy Director, The ARC of Minnesota, and John Tschida, Vice President of Public Policy, Courage Center, presented an overview on the Reform and Redesign of Disability Services.
Representative Huntley moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 1, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Hosch assumed the gavel at 1:06 P.M.
Alex Bartolic, Disability Services Director, Sherrie Kunkel, Home Care Policy Specialist, Louis Thayer, Co-Chief Human Services Judge, Joseph Rubenstein, Human Services Judge, Department of Human Services, presented an overview on Personal Care Attendant Services and Personal Care Attendant Appeals.
Representative Abeler Assumed the gavel at 1:59 P.M.
Dr. Michael Helgeson, Chief Executive Officer, Apple Tree Dental, presented an overview on Dental Services.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:16 P.M.
