Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:45 P.M. on Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Murphy moved that HF328 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Civil Justice.

Representative Murphy moved the H0328A1 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Murphy moved the H0328A2 amendment. MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Murphy presented HF328.

Representative Murphy renewed her motion that HF328, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Civil Justice. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice-Chair Liebling assumed the gavel at 3:30 P.M.

HF247 (Thissen) Long-term care savings plan provided and income tax subtraction provided for contributions made to the long-term care savings plan

Representative Thissen moved that HF247 be laid over for possible inclusion in a Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight long-term care omnibus bill.

Representative Brod and Representative Thissen presented HF247.
