MINUTES


Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:40 PM, on March 24, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Sailer moved that the minutes from March 19, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved HF 1544 be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.

HF1544-Reinert
St. Louis County; Consumptive use of water approved for snowmaking.

The following people provided testimony on HF 1544:

Chair Eken renewed the motion that HF 1544 pass and sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved that HF 1250 be recommended to pass and referred to the General Register.

Electric vehicle infrastructure regulated

Chair Eken moved the A09-0187 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved the following Oral amendment:

Chair Eken moved HF 1493 be recommended to pass and referred to the Committee on Finance and re-referred to Environment Finance.

Representative Sailer moved HF 1770 be recommended to pass and be referred to the General Register.

Household hazardous waste joint powers boards audits required every five years

Representative Sailer renewed the motion that HF 1770 be recommended to pass and be referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Hansen moved that HF 424 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.

Critical Areas Act of 1973 modified

Representative Hansen moved the H0424DE4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
