Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 8:33 A.M. on February 24, 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 8:34 A.M.
DNR Commissioner Mark Holsten introduced the DNR’s 2010-2011 biennial budget.
Assistant Commissioner Bob Meier introduced the Parks and Trails division budget.
Courtland Nelson presented the Parks and Trails budget.
Ed Quinn, DNR natural resources consultant, testified on natural and cultural resource management.
Forrest Boe testified on Outdoors Minnesota.
Kent Lokkesmoe presented the Division of Waters budget.
Representative Persell moved that the minutes of February 19 be approved. The motion prevailed.
The committee adjourned at 10:02 A.M.
